Steve Hollis, Aston Villa’s chairman is set to start his inquest into Villa’s disastrous season this week, John Percy of the Telegraph has reported.
Sir Meryvn King, newly appointed board member is also thought to be attending the internal inquest, along with Tom Fox, Sporting director Hendrick Almstadt and Chief scout Paddy O’Reilly.
It is understood that Steve Hollis will be looking into the player recruitment that took place under Fox and Almstadt over the summer transfer window and taking a deeper look into the contracts of some players.

Adama Traore is one player that is said to have worried the new Chairman. The Spanish born winger has a clause in his contract meaning he could earn over £90k a week after 3 years at the club.
It seems to that Steve Hollis will look into the future of the club, potentially preparing for life in the Championship next season. Whether the future of Aston Villa will be with Fox, Almstadt and O’Reilly, we will have to wait and see.
