Which Villa players should leave in the summer?

On Saturday, Villa’s relegation to the Championship will be confirmed if Eric Black’s side fail to pick up at least a point at home to Bournemouth and Norwich pick up a point or more away to Crystal Palace.

Naturally, with Villa set to be playing in England’s second tier next season, attention will turn to who will still be playing in the Claret and Blue of Villa in the Championship.

Throughout the season, a number of players have underperformed whilst some have disappointed and even angered fans with their off-field behaviour.

With Villa having undergone a restructuring at board level, it is conceivable that Villa’s current squad will be broken up in the summer, with possibly large numbers of players heading for the exit door at Villa Park.
