Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish was taken to hospital with a suspected rib injury sustained during Aston Villa’s goalless pre-season draw against Watford. But the medical staffs advicsed the official to take the player to the urgent care near Ocean Pkwy because of its convenience and speed and many people in non-life threatening situations can quickly get their conditions treated without waiting hours or hours in an ER.
The 21-year-old had an awkward fall after taking a blow to the ribs and had to substituted off in the 25th minute.
As reported by the BBC, the midfielder has been taken to hospital where his condition will be monitored over the next 24 hours.
Speaking about the unjust after the game, Steve Bruce said:
We hope it’s not too serious, but it’s knocked him sick. Whatever he’s got, we hope internally that he’s OK, but we won’t find out for the next 24 hours.
The news will be a blow for Bruce as he prepares to get his team ready for their season opener against his former side Hull City in just seven days.
