Steve Bruce’s position at Aston Villa is looking very insecure after a poor start to the season and his potential exit could be even closer than some thought.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Sport, as cited by Sport Witness, officials from Villa have contacted Oscar Garcia about the possibility of him taking over from Bruce in the Villa Park hottest.
Garcia, who has managed both Brighton and Watford in the past, is currently in charge of Saint-Etienne, who he took over in the summer.

Whether the Spaniard would be willing to leave his position as a Ligue 1 manager to take over a club in the Championship remains to be seen, although Villa’s reported contact is likely to find out exactly that.
Garcia’s Saint-Etienne side have had a promising start to their season as they currently sit in fourth place in Ligue 1.
