Aston Villa reportedly want to sign Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa.
According to the Daily Mail, the Argentine striker is one player who is being considered by Villa, as the January transfer window edges closer.
Ulloa has found first-team football hard to come by so far this season. He has been utilised mainly as a squad player and Claude Puel, as expected, has preferred Jamie Vardy as his lone striker.

Although, it’s claimed by the Daily Mail that Leicester boss Puel is indeed keen to keep hold of Ulloa. Leicester are well stocked with forward players but it seems they want to retain the 31-year-old’s services for extra cover.
Villa are expected to be looking for added reinforcements when the New Year does come around, and it seems they are strongly pondering a move for Ulloa.
However, if they are to pursue their apparent interest, they may have to fend off competition from elsewhere. The report states that Villa’s fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United are also interested in Ulloa.
