Steve Bruce has hinted that there may be more additions at Villa Park before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
The summer has already seen the acquisitions of goalkeepers Örjan Nyland and Andre Moreira, midfielder John McGinn, and versatile defender Axel Tuanzebe.

However, Bruce isn’t content with the state of his squad.
Speaking after his side’s 1-0 win against Yeovil Town in the first round of the League Cup, the Birmingham Mail report Bruce as saying:
We’ve got plenty to work on.
We know that,so we’ll still be active in the next couple of weeks, that’s for sure.
We can still activate the loan market. We’ve got one or two things in the fire, so we’ll try and do that and strengthen because we’re still a bit short of where we should be.
Reports in recent days have suggested Southampton’s Sam McQueen may be one such target, in an attempt to strengthen depth at the left-back position.
