Aston Villa are to make a run at Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, as they look to strengthen their squad before the August 31 loan deadline.
The 20-year-old has received loan chances at Bristol City and Swansea in previous seasons, impressing in his spells at both clubs.

Eager to diversify their attacking options, Villa are hoping they will be the next team to be blessed with the 6’3 London-native.
Abraham has made three appearances for the Chelsea senior team, and it is as yet unclear as to whether the forward is in new manager Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the upcoming season.
The Birmingham Mail claim that Steve Bruce has an interest in bringing Abraham to Villa Park, which would see the striker play in a division where he has a history of scoring goals.
The 2016-17 season at Bristol City saw Abraham hit the back of the net on 23 occasions, in 41 league appearances.
