Gary Cahill has reached an agreement with Galatasary, according to reports in Turkish outlet Fotomac.
The central defender has emerged to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with new manager Maurizio Sarri preferring a more modern breed of defender than the stoically traditional option of Cahill.
Various types of deals and destinations had been linked to Cahill, including loan opportunities at several Championship clubs, including Aston Villa.

A move to the West Midlands would have seen Cahill return to his first club, with whom he came through as a youth prospect. He would have also followed in the footsteps of former teammate John Terry.
However, it appears as though the 32-year-old will be heading abroad to get regular first team football this year.
The centre-half joined Chelsea in 2012, making the move from Bolton Wanderers.
In six seasons in West London, Cahill made 189 appearances for Chelsea, and was named club captain following the departure of Terry for Villa.
A regular England choice as well, Cahill has received 61 England caps. Following the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the Dronfield-native retired from international duty.
