Sources close to Aston Villa say that the wheels are in motion for the club to bring John Terry back to Villa Park for the remainder of the season, as per a report from Dave Armitage of The Mirror.
Terry left Villa at the end of last season following their defeat to Fulham in the play-off final as the club’s financial issues meant they could not afford to keep him any longer.

The former Chelsea and England captain is still a free agent, despite receiving offers from Asia and America and it looks like Villa’s new owners, Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, are willing to pay Terry’s wages once again as they look to give Steve Bruce a squad capable of getting promoted.
Villa look short of centre-backs after they failed with a deadline day bid for Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna and it looks like the club will do whatever they can to get Terry back.
