England manager Gareth Southgate has travelled to Villa Park to watch Jack Grealish in Aston Villa’s clash with Blackburn Rovers.
Villa are aiming for their fifth successive league victory in the Championship against Rovers, as they continue their push for a playoff spot.
And Grealish also has the chance to impress the England boss, who is in attendance as he monitors the midfielder’s progress at Villa Park, according to Daily Telegraph reporter John Percy.

Southgate had recently stated that Grealish would have to be playing regular first team football in the Premier League in order to compete for a spot in the national side.
However the England manager clearly has the midfielder on his radar, after Grealish’s return to the Villa side has coincided with their late push for the playoffs.
Prior to kick off in Saturday’s clash with Blackburn, Villa occupied the final playoff position in the Championship.
