According to Sky Sports News, Brentford have rejected the £9 million bid that Aston Villa made for Said Benrahma.
Understandably, Brentford are not looking to sell their Algerian pearl this summer and have made it perfectly clear that only a huge offer will prise him away from Griffin Park.
Reports in France claimed Villa’s bid was shy of the £10 million mark. However, but it is believed that they will only listen to offers that are around £30 million.

Dean Smith signed the 23-year-old from Nice when he was in charge of the Bees, and he went on to have a very impressive season, notching up 11 goals and 17 assists in 45 appearances.
This was six goals and 12 assists more than what Andre Green and Albert Adomah managed together.
Smith is now looking to reunite with the talented winger at Villa Park, but unless Villa increase their initial bid substantially, it looks like Smith will have to look elsewhere.
