According to Wales Online, Aston Villa are favourites to sign Portugal international Helder Costa from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 25-year-old winger, who can play on the left or right flank, cost Wolves £13 million back in January 2017 and he went on to establish himself as one of the best players in the Championship.
However, he has found it difficult to nail down a starting position in the Premier League. He featured 25 times for Wolves last season, but only managed 2 goals and 2 assists.
He is now out of favour at the club and he is expected to move on to pastures new this summer, but he definitely won’t have to worry about not being able to find a new club.
Championship side’s Leeds United, Stoke City, Birmingham City, and Derby County are all interested in acquiring his services, but the bookies have Villa as odds-on favourites to sign the talented winger.
