Aston Villa are set to rival fellow newly promoted Premier League sides Norwich City and Sheffield United in the race to land the out of favour Ben Gibson.
The defender made just five appearances for Burnley in an injury hit season following his £15million move from Middlesbrough last summer, with the form of Ben Mee and James Tarkowski also limiting his first team opportunities.
And according to an exclusive report by TEAMtalk, the Clarets are willing to allow Gibson to move on this summer, with Villa one of five sides eyeing a move for the defender.

Both Norwich and Sheffield United look set to rival Dean Smith’s side for the 26-year-old, while the Blades’ rivals Sheffield Wednesday and Turkish outfit Besiktas are also both eyeing a move for the defender.
Burnley are said to be willing to allow Gibson to move on either in a permanent deal or on loan.
