According to a report in Bristol Live, Aston Villa will not be hit with a points deduction next season.
A number of Championship clubs had been calling for the Premier League to issue Villa with a points deduction if they were found guilty of having breached the strict profit and sustainability rules.

The Premier League have always been reluctant to issue newly promoted sides with a points deduction as that would obviously make it even more difficult for the club to avoid relegation, but the EFL believe that if a team gets promoted off the back of unfair financial activities, then they need to be punished in the Premier League.
However, to the relief of the Villa faithful, it looks like the club will avoid any such sanctions. Christian Purslow, the CEO of Aston Villa, has told the fans that there is absolutely nothing to worry about because the “EFL Finance Department has confirmed that, subject to a final audit of our accounts, Aston Villa’s 2018-19 accounts are compliant with the EFL’s Profitability and Sustainability Regulations.”
