Aston Villa will reportedly make an improved offer for Bristol City defender Adam Webster, according to the Daily Mirror, cited by HITC.
Villa reportedly had a £12m bid turned down by the Robins this week, however, the 24-year-old, who is also wanted by Leicester and Southampton, appears to be one of Dean Smith’s top transfer targets.

Bristol City have slapped a £30m price tag on the defender, meaning Villa may have to break their club transfer record for the second time this summer if they are to secure Webster’s services.
Villa will increase their offer for the highly-rated centre-back, however, the club looks unlikely to match the Robins’ demands at this moment in time.
The playoff winners are desperate to add to their defensive ranks this summer, with loan stars Axel Tuanzebe and Tyrone Mings returning to their parent clubs after helping Villa to promotion.
Smith is keen to bring the pair back to Villa Park on permanent deals, however, Tuanzebe is hoping to impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, while talks regarding a permanent Mings deal are thought to be ongoing.
