Aston Villa are set to keep Keinan Davis at the club, despite some strong interest in the forward from the Championship.
The young Villa forward is set to remain at the club, according to Football Insider, with Dean Smith keen to continue the player’s development at Villa Park.

Davis has made 39 league appearances in his Villa career so far, scoring two goals.
Several Championship sides including QPR, Huddersfield, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea City and Preston North End have all tried to sign the forward on loan, but will likely fail before the window shuts on Thursday.
Dean Smith believes that the player still has a part to play for Villa this season.

Many will question why Dean Smith is not sending out the young forward to gain some first-team football in the Championship, especially as he won’t be a consistent starter this season.
However, you just have to look at Villa’s depth up front to see why Davis is staying.

Villa are reportedly still looking for a striker before the window shuts on Thursday, but they could yet fail to get anyone in.
This would leave Davis as the third choice striker, meaning that Villa would be taking a huge risk if they were to let him go out on loan.
Any injury to Wesley or Jonathan Kodjia would leave Villa with barely any depth up top, so keeping Davis is a smart move.
However, if they are to bring someone else in, they may just regret keeping him.
