Many Aston Villa fans have reacted angrily towards Trezeguet after his latest interview ahead of the Carabao Cup final.
Dean Smith’s side face fellow Premier League club Manchester City in the final of the competition this Sunday at Wembley.
Villa recently lost 2-0 in the league against Southampton, whilst City come into the game after beating Real Madrid in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League.
Trez spoke to Villa TV ahead of the cup final and spoke about how the team are prepared to fight for everything against Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Egyptian international promised that the team will work together to give everything on the pitch and many Villa fans are sick and tired of hearing words without any action.
Tyrone Mings was also criticised recently for making similar remarks, with the fans wanting to see it turn to reality on matchdays rather than just empty words.
These fans on Twitter were clearly not happy once again.
