Some Aston Villa fans have looked back on footage shared via their official Twitter account following the 3-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The Villains started the season in excellent form, winning their opening four league games of the campaign . Heading into Sunday’s fixture against the Gunners, however, Villa had los to Leeds and Southampton in their most recent outings.
The victory was set in motion by a Bukayo Saka own goal putting Dean Smith’s side in front, before summer signing Ollie Watkins burst into life after half-time.
The former Brentford man has been an excellent addition to Villa’s squad and his impressive brace further enhanced his reputation as the three points for the visitors pushed them to sixth in the Premier League standings.

The third goal started with Emiliano Martinez claiming a cross before laying the ball to Jack Grealish, who ran the length of the pitch before playing in Watkins to supply the finish – leaving Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin looking rather embarrassed in his futile efforts to stop the attack.
Below are just some of the tweets which caught our eye in replies to Villa’s official Twitter channel…
