Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a latest clip of footage showing Wesley continuing his recovery at the club’s training facility.
The Brazilian striker arrived at Villa Park last summer from Belgian side Club Brugge and he helped himself to five goals in 21 appearances last term.
Despite gradually adapting to life in the Premier League, the 23-year-old suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Burnley on New Year’s Day and has not featured since.
More than 10 months on from his injury, the Brazilian is now edging closer to a return, with Villa recently posting a behind-the-scenes snap of the striker during a training session.
With the international break now upon us, Villa have followed that up with a further post on Twitter, releasing footage of Wesley in the gym at Bodymoor Heath.
