Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to news that Ollie Watkins has gained a place in FIFA 21’s Team of the Week for his performance against Arsenal at the weekend.
Since arriving at Villa Park this summer, the £27m-valued striker has enhanced his reputation in English football, having quickly adapted from the Championship to the Premier League.
Netting an impressive six goals in his opening seven top-flight games, Watkins’ last runout for Villa saw him score twice against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Such good form from Watkins has helped Villa start the season in fine form, winning the opening four games of the season before a couple of defeats prior to the 3-0 win over the Gunners at the weekend.
That performance from Watkins has seen him named in FIFA 21’s TOTW, an award which was shared by Villa’s official Twitter account.
