Although he’s working hard in training to fight for a starting place this season, Frederic Guilbert has been busy on social media of late and is keeping fans updated with every activity.
From having family meals to going on holiday and training hard during pre-season, supporters have seen a lot of Guilbert’s life in recent weeks. The 26-year-old recently celebrated an anniversary with partner Noémie which he marked with a couple of posts on Instagram.

Guilbert really made the most of his summer holidays before returning to Bodymoor Heath, spending a lot of time back in his native France to visit Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud, Cocoon Beach in Nice and the Cascade de Sillans in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
The 26-year-old has been building up his match fitness ever since and will hope his efforts are noticed by Dean Smith. Guilbert has made 31 appearances in all competitions since joining Villa from SM Caen in 2019, scoring two goals with two assists.
Guilbert will battle Matty Cash for a starting place at right-back this season but has a lot of work to do as he’s currently behind in the pecking order.
In other news, there’s excitement on social media as Aston Villa are linked with Cheick Doucoure
