Aston Villa could offer up to €50million for Barcelona forward Ferran Torres as Unai Emery searches for another major attacking addition.
Villa have entered the reported race alongside Paris Saint-Germain after completing Morgan Rogers’ £117million sale to Chelsea.
According to El Nacional, PSG have already proposed €25million plus another €10million through add-ons. Villa could significantly exceed that package by offering Barcelona as much as €50million.
No official Villa bid has been confirmed. The report instead suggests the club are considering a substantial proposal as Barcelona assess Torres’ future.

Torres has entered the final year of his Barcelona contract, placing the Spanish champions under pressure to agree an extension or consider a summer sale.
The 26-year-old can operate from either wing or through the middle. He also scored Spain’s extra-time winner against Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday.
His versatility would appeal to Emery after Rogers’ departure created a major opening within Villa’s attack. Torres previously played in the Premier League for Manchester City, reducing concerns over his ability to adapt to English football.
PSG currently appear to hold the strongest position. Reports earlier in July claimed Torres had reached a verbal agreement with the French champions, although Barcelona have not officially accepted an offer.
Villa are assessing several alternatives. ReadAstonVilla reported on Monday that they have also entered the race to sign €60million AC Milan winger Rafael Leão.
Torres would provide experience, goals and tactical flexibility. However, Villa must formalise their interest quickly if PSG advance negotiations with Barcelona.
