According to BBC Sport, Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has quashed speculation that Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone will move to rivals West Brom this month. Aston Villa’s poor December form continued as they were beaten 2-1 by Brentford on Tuesday evening. It was yet another game where poor individual errors cost them dearly.
