Randy Lerner : I have had interest from nearly every corner of the globe

Randy Lerner has stepped out of his comfort zone in giving a public interview with The Times this week, in preperation for the FA Cup Final.

The Villa Chairman and Owner spoke about his future in length about his future at the club and reiterating the point of his intension’s of selling Aston Villa for around £150m-£200m.

“The responsibilities that i have at home in the US both personally and professionally come first” “I dont disagree with the criticism” “and what i should of done several years back was bring in a chairman”

The Villa Chairman also goes on to mention the club is still up for sale, saying that the club has attracted interest from the US, China, Italy and beyond.

Lerner goes on “The Key of course is to try to put the club in custodial hands that can take the club forward. Resources and competence and a willingness to immerse themselves in the local fabric.”
