Aston Villa travelled to the King Power Stadium on Sunday to take on Claudio Ranieri’s side who were yet to lose this season.
Villa manager, Tim Sherwood gave Carles Gil his first start as well as bringing back in Gabriel Agbonlahor and also a debut to Joleon Lescott.
The game started sluggishly for Villa who were on the back foot for the first ten minutes or so, but after settling down Villa were in control. The chances were passing by for the Villans until Jack Grealish curled home from just outside the box when Leicester failed to clear a corner.
The second half started well for Sherwood’s side with Villa taking a 2-0 lead thanks to a superb strike Carles Gil. The tide turned after Gil’s goal though with Villa failing to deal with a Leicester onslaught in the last 20 minutes which saw the hosts somehow run out 3-2 winners.
