Aston Villa manager, Tim Sherwood has told the press that he believes Jack Grealish is worth more than £60-million saying, ‘I wouldn’t want to sell Jack Grealish for £60m today.” Stating that he knows what the youngster ‘could possibly be‘ Pointing out that “What looks expensive this year might not be expensive next year.”
In the press conference on Friday, Sherwood praised Grealish for his ability describing him as a ‘very talent player’ but that he has to “realise there is more to the game” than jus when you are on the ball.
The Irish U21 international has been subject to much talk on the country he will represent at senior national level with the Solihull-born starlet opting to play for his grandparents country of birth until now.
Sherwood believes that England ‘already recognise’ that Grealish ‘is a talent’. Roy Hodgson has spoken in recent weeks about holding talks with Grealish about the possibility of him opting to play for his country of birth with the England manager looking to spice up the competition for places ahead of the UEFA European Championships in France next year.
