Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish looks set to miss out on a place in the England squad for Euro 2016 with Roy Hodgson reportedly not ready to give Grealish his debut in a Three Lions shirt.
Sami Mokbel from the Daily Mail reports that along with Grealish’s professionalism coming into question after the latest boozy night out images appeared in Tuesday’s papers the England manager does not believe Grealish is up to standard to make the pool of players vying for a place in the squad that will go to France in 2016.
Another Grealish Blow
The report could be another blow to Grealish who has suffered. His season has not really kicked off yet and bad press circling above him quite consistently since his prominent rise to the Villa first team has led to further doubts about his ability.
Roy Hodgson would be correct in not picking Grealish though. Surely no fan can say that the Solihull-born man deserves a place at Euro 2016.
