The controversy at Aston Villa continues to rumble on with The Villans manager Remi Garde reportedly telling Jack Grealish to train with the development squad after footage came out of a boozy night out in Manchester just after the side were battered 4-0 away at Everton.
John Percy from the Telegraph reports how the club will not fine the Villa academy graduate, but were unhappy with the timing of the night out given where Aston Villa currently lie in the Premier League table.
Villa and bad press
They say when it rains it pours. In Villa’s circumstances it certainly is. Currently bottom of the Premier League table with a newly appointed manager – bad press about the playing staff is really not needed.
Furthermore, Remi Garde is said to be against the idea of Steve Round joining him as assistant manager at B6 with the Villa hierarchy pushing a move for the former-Manchester United coach.
