Hiddink fury over Loic Remy

Chelsea manager Gus Hiddink has responded with frustration to Remi Garde’s comments, where the Villa manager spoke of his admiration for Loic Remy and his interest for the French Striker, according to The Mirror.

Gus Hiddink didn’t seem happy today when a journalist asked him about Aston Villa’s interest in Loic Remy.

“If you are interested, talk first to the people with whom they are contracted. You cannot go into details.” said the newly appointed manager in pre-game press conference.

You don’t go through the side door.

Remi Garde has been very transparent since joining Aston Villa and as a result was more than pleased to speak about his admiration for Loic Remy, a player Garde has worked with during his time at Lyon.

“Loic is a guy I know well – of course it would be an interesting player for the team.” Garde said speaking to the media today.

Villa sit at the foot of the table in desperate need of firepower and Loic Remy would be a perfect addition to help them in their battle against relegation.
