Incoming Aston Villa owner, Dr Tony Xia is believed to be looking at purchasing another football club as he plans to build his brand out of the Midlands side.
Gregg Evans reports exclusively for the Birmingham Mail how he wants to build an infrastructure of teams around the famous Villa history and branding having seen how well Manchester City have adapted their brand worldwide with teams in Japan, America, and Australia respectively. He believes the City Group was a success and is looking at India and America as he looks to establish the Villa brand worldwide.
Other plans for the club is to attract the hottest talent in the world by setting up feeder clubs for the Villans and notably last week the talk of creating a theme park in Aston.
It is also noted in the report that Tony Xia and his team have already submitted all the necessary information to the respective bodies for his fit and proper person test and it should be known by the end of next week if he has passed it.
There have been considerable question marks over Dr Tony Xia’s wealth due to a reluctance to reveal his wealth, but it seems his fortunes will be going a long way as he looks to take Aston Villa straight back to the Premier League.
