Aston Villa owner, Tony Xia, has left a damning message on Twitter minutes after Villa were embarrassingly knocked out of the EFL Cup by League Two side Luton Town.
Even we agreed to take the LC match as checking game, some players are not worth being given chance. https://t.co/jAOrXj9yFR

From his Tweet it is clear that Xia is angry with the performances of numerous players against Luton and, to be honest, who can blame him. The defeat to Luton is one of many embarrassing results that Villa have been on the receiving end of over the past 18 months.
The second half at Kenilworth Road was a total shambles; with Villa’s defence putting in a performance reminiscent of last season’s defensive efforts as Luton eased to victory.
Villa’s latest defeat now means that they have gone 15 competitive games without victory, with only one draw against Newcastle United in that sequence. Villa’s last victory came against Norwich City at the beginning of February.
In this slideshow I shall take a look at four players who could find themselves leaving Villa Park, in light of Xia’s Tweet after Villa’s latest embrassment.
