All You Need To Know About Villa’s International Break

The second international break of the season is already upon us and, therefore, there are 11 Villa players who, within the next week, will be flying to different places all over the world to represent their respective countries.

It is well known that a lot of fans do not particularly like international breaks due to the fact that it means that there will be no club football for two weeks and there is also the possibility on the club’s best players picking up an injury.

However, if truth be told, this particular international break has come at a very good time for Aston Villa and their supporters.

After Roberto Di Matteo’s sacking, there is still plenty of time left before the next game to interview potential new managers. Dr. Xia is currently on a business trip in China and, therefore, he will only become involved in the recruiting process when there are only three managers left in the running. Therefore, this break means that Villa should not have an interim coach for too many games.

In the meantime, we know that the days leading up to the international fixtures can be pretty dull, but it is always good to keep track of your club’s youth and senior players who have been chosen to represent their countries.
