Bournemouth and Crystal Palace targeting Villa’s Green

According to the Mirror, Aston Villa youngster Andre Green is on the radar of some Premier League clubs, including Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

Bournemouth and Palace watched Green in Aston Villa’s Championship tie against Reading, where the Villains lost 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium.

Green opened his senior goal-scoring account on Saturday, by scoring the opening goal of the game in his side’s 4-2 victory against Norwich.

The 19-year-old has come through the ranks at Aston Villa, having joined the club at the age of nine, he made his debut for their under 21 side at just 15 and Villa rate him very highly, with some members of the coaching staff believing he can surpass Jack Grealish at the club.

Green made has made 37 appearances for Aston Villa’s under 23 side, scoring six and assisting eight times, which earned him a place in the club’s senior side, making 23 appearances for them, where he has only scored once, however, most of his appearances for the senior team have been from the bench.
