Villa complete the signing of Lewis Grabban

Aston Villa have tonight completed the signing of Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban on a loan deal.

The loan will run until the end of the season following his spell at fellow Championship side Sunderland.

Grabban scored nine goals in his time at the Stadium of Light but has now signed for Villa, who will hope he can grab the goals to help them achieve promotion back to the Premier League this season.

Grabban has a lot of experience throughout Championship level and will be an important player, particularly when it comes down to those crucial moments under pressure at the end of the season.

The forward will go straight into the squad for Villa’s visit of bottom of the table Burton Albion at Villa Park this weekend.

matchday.
