Aston Villa hope to secure permanent deal for Lewis Grabban

Lewis Grabban has done very well at Aston Villa since joining on loan in January

Villa have secured a place in this years’s play-offs and whilst it is mathematically possible for them to finish second ahead of Fulham and Cardiff, it is very unlikely to happen

Villa will be one of the favourites going into the play-offs and should they manage to get themselves back into the top tier of English football, Grabban will certainly be a summer target.

The 30-year old has netted seven times in nice games since arriving on loan and before his arrival, Villa were struggling in terms of a top goal scorer with Jonathan Kodja having a terrible time with injures.

According to reports, Villa will try and sign Grabban permanently if they win promotion.

It is also reported that Villa will consider trying to sign Sam Johnstone and Robert Snodgrass on permanent deals if the season has the fairy-tale end that all Villa fans are hoping for.
