Villa looking at possible Agbonlahor return

Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor could be set to return to the club with Steve Bruce’s side currently being forced to sell a number of their key players, according to the Mirror.

Villa are facing a real cash problem at the moment due to missing out on promotion to the Premier League after losing Fulham at Wembley two weeks ago.

Star midfielder Jack Grealish and striker Jonathan Kodjia are among those who have been linked with high profile departures as Villa look to raise funds, while John Terry has also decided to leave the Midlands based club.

The former Villa striker, was released at the end of last month, but Bruce may be forced to go back in for him with his side reporting back in for pre season on July 4, as they look to get themselves out of trouble.

Agbonlahor had been with Villa since 2005, having come through the academy as a young boyhood Villa fan.
