Keith Wyness planning legal action against Aston Villa

Aston Villa’s problems away from the pitch show no sign of slowing down with reports now suggesting Keith Wyness will pursue legal action against the club.

The Telegraph report that Wyness, who left the club following the play-off defeat to Fulham, will file for constructive dismissal.

The report claims that the case could end up costing Villa as much as £6 million.

Wyness played a key role at Villa behind the scenes, working closely with manager Steve Bruce when Dr Tony Xia was away from the club.

Villa are facing an uncertain summer with a string of financial worries off the pitch.

John Terry was forced to leave Villa Park, with the club unable to meet his wage demands to extend his stay.

Jack Grealish is also expected to leave the club in the summer, with Bruce’s men demanding upwards of £30 million for the player, who is attracting a lot of interest from Premier League sides.
