Villa transfer target Bahoken given valuation by club
Aston Villa linked striker Stephane Bahoken has been given his price tag after his agent held discussions with club Angers.
The 26 year old, who has scored 11 goals for the Ligue 1 side this season, has attracted interest from a number of clubs across the continent.
As well as Villa, Sheffield United were said to be keen on the Cameroon international forward, who has hit form toward the latter end of the campaign.
Now according to RMC Sport, after meetings with the players representatives, the club have given their forward man an official valuation.
According to the report, Angers will demand a fee of £8.5million to let the striker leave, which would represent a decent profit on the £3million they paid Strasbourg for him last year.
Dean Smith is keen to bring in more forward options to increase Aston Villa’s firepower this summer, especially if they end up playing in the Premier League in the 2019/2020 campaign, with Tammy Abraham’s future unclear
