Fans laud Jack Grealish’s latest masterclass as Palace swatted aside

Aston Villa enjoyed a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Boxing Day and Jack Grealish was lauded by many supporters on social media for his “Rolls Royce performance” at Villa Park.

The 25-year-old created more chances and won more free kicks than any player on the pitch and had the second-most successful dribbles of any Villa player. Grealish ran the show in midfield and gave Luka Milivojevic and James McArthur a torrid time. The pair committed six fouls between them and were both hooked in the second half. [WhoScored]

Against Palace, Grealish had 57 touches, won three aerial duels, completed 79.4% of his 34 passes, created six chances, had two shots, won three tackles, won five free kicks and had two successful dribbles. [WhoScored]

The 25-year-old has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and supplying eight assists (14 appearances). In 13 Premier League games, he has created 49 chances and made 39 successful dribbles (WhoScored). Grealish has been outstanding in 2020/21 and showed his class on Saturday without adding to his tally.

Unsurprisingly, many Villa fans again took to Twitter to purr over the midfielder’s latest masterclass:
