The Premier League season has finished and Morgan Sanson has been able to go on summer holiday as he didn’t make France’s 26-man squad for the European Championship.

The 26-year-old began his vacation a couple of weeks ago and posted a picture on Instagram while he was boarding a private plane. It looked like his holiday ended a few days ago after he posted another picture of him on the plane, but Sanson’s Instagram stories suggests he’s moved to a different location.

The uncapped midfielder joined Villa from Olympique Marseille in January and has gone on to make nine appearances in all competition. Sanson hasn’t exactly set the place alight since making the mid-season switch, but he should have a better second season now he’s acclimatised to his surroundings.

Until he returns to Bodymoor Heath to report for pre-season duty, however, he’ll be enjoying the time off from football. Sanson is living it up in luxury locations and making the most of his resources right now. When he’ll be back in England is unknown, but he has until July before pre-season will begin.
