John Terry shows off doughnuts, watches Euro 2020 coverage, meets England fans

John Terry has some time off from coaching Aston Villa this summer and has been watching England at the European Championships. He’s also spent some quality time with his family and updated supporters on his Instagram stories of all his goings-on.

The 40-year-old has been purchasing doughnuts which he blamed wife Toni for eating, watched England’s 1-0 win over the Czech Republic on Tuesday night, sent a message to old Chelsea teammate Ashley Cole who was a pundit for ITV, was excited to see Jack Grealish make his first tournament start for England and took a picture with England fans in ‘Terry’ shirts.

Not only has Terry been watching football, he’s also recently graduated from the FA Level 5 UEFA Pro Licence course and bagged the highest attainable football management qualification.

The ex-Chelsea and Villa defender, who’s been at Villa in a coaching capacity since 2018, has made no secret about wanting to be a manager and was endorsed by Dean Smith amid links with Bournemouth and Celtic last season, so he could be ready for a No.1 job sooner rather than later.
