Journeyman Aly Cissokho is seeking a move away from Villa park after an unimpressive season, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The French international has been told by Tim Sherwood he is not needed at the club and is looking for regular first team football.
The left-back isn’t a big earner but ideally they’d like to recoup the £3.5m they paid last summer, but may be forced to cut their losses.
Cissokho played 25 times for Aston Villa.
