Pre-Season : First day back at Bodymoor Heath

Today marked the first day of Pre-Season at Villa’s training complex, seeing the likes of Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair get underway as they become permanent fixtures at Aston Villa.

 

 

 

The day started off with Sherwood strolling into Bodymoor Heath as if he’s been there for the past 20 years, casually stretching out a leg to open the door.

And after almost 2 years out with a broken leg, it was a pleasure to see Libor Kozak being the first player through the door this morning too.

it was was encouraging to see 3 academy graduates – Jack Grealish, Callum Robinson and Gary Gardner all share a bit of banter to themselves after training with the first team together  (at 2 minutes 47seconds)

           

and Fabian Delph, hitting the ground running as usual – due to his inclusion in the end of season International’s he wasn’t due into training til next week, but none the less he was putting in the extra work.
