N’Zogbia given second chance

Charles N’Zogbia has been given a second chance by Aston Villa’s new manager Remi Garde, just days after Villa were putting together a plan to cancel the French-born Winger’s contract, according to the Stuart James of The Guardian.

N’Zogbia was brought in by Alex McLeish for £9.5m from Wigan, in a bid to replace the outgoing Villa stars Ashley Young and Stuart Downing. However, the former French International’s form for Villa has been very poor and has never made a mark during his time at Villa Park only scoring 4 goals in 79.

After being ousted by Paul Lambert and Tim Sherwood, he looked like his Villa career was over, especially after going on several twitter rants throughout Tim Sherwood’s reign.

But now Remi Garde has brought him back in the fold, bringing him on as a sub against Manchester City as the weekend and it seems that he is very much in the mind of the new manager.
