Aston Villa central midfielder Idrrisa ‘Gana’ Gueye has ranked as the 5th dirtiest player in the English Premier League so far this season.
The African midfielder has committed 24 fouls already this season in just 12 games, which is the 5th most out of all the players in the entire of the Premier League.
Villa currently sit bottom of the Premier League and without a win since their win against Bournemouth back in August (courtesy of a Rudy Gestede header). However, Idrissa Gueye has been one of the few bright sparks as the summer signing from Lille is starting to settle down in England and produce better and better performances for the Midlands club.
The 26-year-old has put some steel in the midfield for Villa and it is showing with his 24 fouls as he has been trying his best to snuff out opposition attacks before they can reach Remi Garde’s back four.
