4 things we have learnt : Aston Villa v Watford

We can score

If we put ourselves to it, we can score goals. They were several chances that should of been put away, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be this time round.

Luck doesn’t seem to be on our side.

Hutton tackling Ighalo to try and prevent a goal, for it to end up in the back of his own net – bad luck seems to be following Aston Villa as of late but we need to make our own luck.

Things aren’t clicking going forward, just yet.

Several times Sinclair made darting runs off the ball to try and force an opening, but Veretout and Gueye didn’t see these and with Gil on the wing, it proved difficult to break open Watford.

Our Defence needs to take a look at itself.

Time and time again, the likes of Clark and Richardson were kept ball watching and it is not good enough from Premier League starters, they need to smarten up.

Interested in Football, Politics and obviously Aston Villa.
