Villa fans plan mass walk out

After the success of the Liverpool’s walk out earlier in the season, it seems Villa fans are ready to see if it’ll work for Aston Villa.

The Birmingham Mail is reporting that fans have planned mass walk outs for the next 3 home games against Everton, Tottenham and Chelsea.

The protest comes as Villa sit bottom of the Premier League after poor management by the Villa hierachy, bringing in poor players and not replacing goalscorer Christian Benteke.

It is expected that the fans will walk out on the 74th minute of the 3 home games, in line with the “Out the door on 74” campaign.

Mike McKenna who is organising the campaign has told the Birmingham Mail that he doesn’t support personal abuse toward anyone at the club, but doesn’t wish to support anything that Randy Lerner, Tom Fox and Steve Hollis are currently trying to do at the football club.

Whilst we do not support personal abuse of the owner, directors, manager or players, we also no longer wish to be served platitudes by Mr. Lerner, Mr. Fox, Mr. Hollis or anyone else from within the organisation that is bleeding us dry.

You can follow this campaign on twitter here and you can get involved via the hashtag #OutTheDoorOn74.
