Despite having no permanent manager in place, Aston Villa are still working on their potential summer transfer plans by sending scouts to watch various players across Europe and according to a report from Joe Bernstein of The Daily Mail, the Midlands club have had representatives watching Tino Sven Susic in recent weeks.
Susic is a 25-year-old Bosnian international and is currently playing for Hajduk Split in Croatia.
His main position is as a centre midfielder but he is so versatile that Hajduk Split have used him as a winger on both flanks and as a striker at times this season.
Villa are still without a manager although it looks likely that they’ll be appointing Nigel Pearson soon and it could be that the former Leicester City boss instructed Villa to watch Susic as he tried to sign the player for the newly crowned Premier League champions when he was in charge there.
The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals in 26 appearances for Hajduk Split this season.
