According to a report from Sky Sports, Burnley manager Sean Dyche has laughed off claims that he could be an option for Aston Villa as they look to appoint a new manager in the coming days.
Dyche was touted as one of the potential candidates for the currently vacant post at Villa Park but he’s been quick to rubbish the talk and is set to remain at Turf Moor for the foreseeable future, which will be music to The Clarets’ fans ears.

The Burnley manager has started off the season well, with his side sitting comfortably in 14th place after picking up an impressive two wins against Liverpooland Watford upon their return to the Premier League.
Dyche will be hoping to keep The Clarets up this season and if the early signs of the campaign are anything to go by, his ambitions will be very much fulfilled.
It looks all but certain that Steve Bruce will be given the Villa job in the next few days.
