Hull City striker Abel Hernandez is seeking a move to Aston Villa as he wants to work with his former manager Steve Bruce once again, according to reports.
The Uruguayan international turned down the offer of a contract extension at Hull in the summer and is looking to move on.
If Hull were performing better in the Premier League, the 26-year-old might have been convinced to stay but even at this early stage, The Tigers look destined for the drop and going down would only further Hernandez’s desire to leave.

Bruce signed Hernandez when he was in charge at Hull and is a huge admirer of his but in order to sign him. he’d probably have to sell at least one forward.
He currently has six strikers, two of whom arrived for big money in the summer, so the board re unlikely to sanction a move for Hernandez at this stage, but it’s certainly a possibility that he could be a Villa player in the future.
